Analysing Two Double Page Spreads

This magazine double page spread is for billboard magazine. As you can see the magazine has a massive quote or saying that Lily Allen has said and placed it next to the picture of her. This shows that she has made this comment  and what is the main talking point within the article. There is a big picture of Lily Allen. This is showing who the article is on and showing what they dress like and what they look like. This is done so people who like her can see what she is wearing and this dress sense can be copied. There is slogan underneath the quote she has made. This also gives a rough glimpse into what the article is about. The article is started with a large dropped letter. This is done to add emphasis and to show where the article starts and with what letter. Finally their is a side piece telling the audience who wrote the article. This isn't big so it doesn't distract the audience away from the main article.

 

 

 As you can see here  this is a picture of a double page spread from Q magazine. Over the entire page you can see there is a picture of drake and it takes up the entire page. By doing this the audience can see who the main focus is and who the article is on. In the top right corner there is the new for Q sign. This is also big so it stands out and that the audience get the message that this is a new feature in the Q magazine. Above the article it has the name of the artist who the article is on and beneath that the article is started. The artist heading is in bold so everyone knows. The article is done in normal magazine print. The article is started with a big dropped letter. This shows where the article starts and what letter it starts with. There is more graphology in the picture as the artists new album cover I displayed as part of the main article.
