Prelim task photoshoot

These pictures that are here are pictures that i have taken as part of my preelim task for my school newsletter. I have taken 21 pictures. I have done this so i can see which are the best ones within the certain setting/picture i wanted originally.

The first set of pictures that i have taken are pictures of students playing football. I have tried to take my pictures from different angles and of diffrent skills so it gives me a wide selection of pictures to chosen. All of the pictures that i have taken in this set show that the students are in control of the ball this is important as losing control means that the picture cant be taken correctly. Also i have taken them as a medium/long shot so i can get the whole body and the ball in the picture. On one of the picture their is half shadow and half light. This has slightly spoiled the photo. So i may not use this. This shot also shows that the school is sporty.

The second set of shots are of a student in front of the school sign at the front. I have my freind in the picture as he looks smart. I have done this to show the audience that the school will strive to make your child a smart one. I have taken the pictures from a low angle shot to show that the student is proud to be at this school and shows this by standing next to the Deyes High School sign. On a couple of shots their is light at the top of the sign and the light is in the eyes of the student within the picture. This reduces the effect of the picture so i won't use this picture in my newsletter.

The third set of pictures that have been taken are of a student with a bunsen burner. I used my freind again on this as his appearance shows that he is intelligent and using this within a scientific experiment inhances that and the schools standards. I have also done this as the school are a specialist science school and i want to promote this within the newsletter. On a couple of the shots the flash went off and you can see the flash in the corner of the pick and the picture doesnt look natural either so pictures with this in i won't use.
